Piece of junk, I would avoid it like food poisoning......

I returned a Viper Cobra to Kellyco after 2 days they sold me when I first started hunting. They told me it was a good beginners water unit.....It would not see a heavy gold chain on the surface an inch from it.....

Spend the extra money and get you a good unit. Life is too short to waste time with something that want see a heavy gold chain. I know chains are one of the hardest things for detectors to see, but you don't want to walk over a heavy gold chain to dig a pop top a foot from it.

Avoid the funny name detectors from China. If "fang decals" on your detector thrill you, you will enjoy this machine.

It is not that much more to get a fine detector from Whites, Garrett, Tesoro or Minelab for the beach. You may not need to upgrade for many years.
