yes, I am from Portugal (Porto) but a have been in Brazil for the last 38 years. I love metal detecting and I really would like to know about metal detencting in our country. I have never detected over there.

In Portugal, metal detecting is prohibited. You can only detect in private properties!

The only metal detection allowed is in archaeological studies and made by archaeologists.

It is sad, but that's the truth!
