    Oregon river Update!! Cut slabs from petrified wood.

    Hit a spot in Oregon with my kids this week!Bought a 2" backpack dredge but could not get a permit on such short notice.Broke out the pan and sluice.Found some GOLD and a couple pieces of petrified wood sticking out of an ancient river bed up above the river.Hope to return soon with my permits


    I cut some slabs from the bigger rock!

    Both pan and sluice.Was there for almost 3 days.

    not to bad esp.for pan and sluice.with a permit you'll be dangerous

    Hey that ancient riverbed sounds like a great place to prospect. Nice finds all around. I love finding neat stuff like that petrified wood. I have a couple small pieces myself.
    The gold is down there dig deeper. If that doesn't work dig deeper...
