"Sweet little gold nugget", both of them. Enjoy teaching and sharing the out of doors with your daughter and you will both have memories for a lifetime. I started taking my children with me into "my canyon" when they turned four years of age, we had great times till they were teens............63bkpkr

DaGreat,
What a fun thing to do with your child! I know teaching children to fish requires alot of patience so I can imagine (as I know adults who don't have the patience for gold panning) the outing and the teaching process.
Remember; Gold is where you find it.....no matter what geological reports you have researched for your area or what folks say regarding gold and your area....the earth's real LOAD has yet to be found, I forget the exact amount but considering what has been found versus what exists yet....it's unbelievable and enough to make you keep digging!

 Endeaver to perservere
Is Lake county near Clear Lake CA. ?
Lucerne , etc?
Been there a bunch of times. Grandfolks had a place on the lake.
My first born baby son was in his walker on the back porch when I came around the corner of the house.
My Grandpa was in his walker, age 95, looking down at him as he looked up .
Only camera I had was my mind. Wow.
