I actually have a win to report for us prospectors. For years now at the East Fork there was a parking restriction for no overnight parking from Sunday to Thrusday. The person that fought her ticket and won cause the changes. She found out that LACO Sheriffs only has juristriction on the road, 30 feet from the center line. Outside of that she found out that the FS was enforcing policy and not the law, and the 14 day stay limit applies. The Sheriffs were also going around telling people that it was not legal to prospect on FS land and also had to stop doing that because it was policy and not the law.
Spent a beautifull day there yesterday prospecting, found lots of tiny flood gold.

congrats! i wish the courts had included that the FS be officially informed what the rules are so they cant use this scare tactic again!
