Any chance of Louisiana gold in creeks.

Live in west central louisiana and have many creeks in the area. Would there be any chance of finding gold in these creeks by panning and what material should be present for there to be gold. Have found several arrowheads in and around these creeks. Thanks for any info. Very new to panning but full of energy.

you would need to find the ancient Mississippi River channel and it would probly be very deep!OR look for any exposed bedrock in the river bed. come Nov. 23 the COE will be chokeing down the Missouri River in S.Dakota and as you already know the ole Muddy is low now, after this Friday it should be lower and lower! look for them EZ to access spots.OR go to a sand and gravel company that is local to your location and get some of their stuff. it ought tobe fine but good!
