Panning in woodstock ga

Any one panned around woodstock ga?first time yesterday and I'm hooked! Maybe some one could point me in good places to pan in Cherokee county . Thanks

Alot of the streams from canton to actworth feeding into the lake have good gold check the corp property off kellogg creek rd. (owl creek) also go into kenneworth park in actworth . ( go to the back of the park between the ball fields down to the creek lots of exposed bedrock can find good gold there

Check out various places on the Etowah river. More specifically, a mile up or down stream of the hwy 372 bridge. This is a wildlife management area so good dirt roads parallel to the river, though the gates are closed to motor vehicles sometimes. Also I've heard of the yellow stuff found in Conns creek, and also Yellow creek, also near Ball Ground.
