I bought some of those as well and have been very happy with them. They are pretty heavy duty and fit right into a 5 gallon bucket. You will probably find the 1/2", 1/4" and 1/8" screens are very handy as well. Best of luck with them.

I thought it was a killer deal considering I see those go for more than $20 a pop!

That is a really good deal. Suggest you put a screw (with washer) down thru the very center of the screen thru the plastic below it. Keeps everything together and avoids stretching/breaking of the plastic followed by distortion of the mesh. Also use sharpie to label the upper rim (inside and out) with the screen size so you can easily grab the right one :-)

excellent advice..... i cant wait to see if it helps me spot some of the smaller gold. where i live is a gold museum (villa rica gold museum) less than a mile away and there the miners pulled out 90% flour gold using HUGE cyanide tanks.

It will certainly help! In non area like that, I would look for small feeder creeks that were too small to be economic for the big boys ...but maybe just right for a guy and his sluice! That's how I get the best results possible here in metroDenver.

Welp, got my classifiers in! the free pan looks a bit... cheap... but here they are! Also the classifiers dont have ANY indication that they are in fact 20,50,100 mesh.

Cool stuff. Normal for them to lack mesh size labeling...thus my advice to get out your sharpie! That free pan probably retails for two bucks but hey...

Although i love my 14" garret pan, id like to have one of those 12" steel pans. Great durable backpack pan.
