Nice pics. I'll have to dig out my pan and try out the macro lens I have for my cellphone. Looks like it could take great pics for selling on eBay.

Just wondering if you had much black sands to pan out with those flakes?

Just beautiful! Maybe I should do the same with my fines, but I know they are beat-up and rounded so I doubt they will have the character those lovely pieces of yours have.

I was wondering how much your micro magnifies? I assume that is a function of your camera. Mine has an up-close function for flowers and other such; bright light only but I don't think it magnifies nearly as much.

Again, very nice. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the idea of using a macro function to look at the gold under magnification.

Great pics, southfork. I use a 60x pocket magnifier to observe these. I love how the smaller pieces have lots of great detail like their larger brethren. You've inspired me to break out my macro lens and see what I can capture!
