I have a chance to buy these $2 bills (2 of them)

red seal 1953 A & bicentennial

I don't think the 1996 one is worth more than $2 but what about the 1953?

The 53-A in circulated condition is currently selling for about $4-5 on ebay.

if that second $2 dollar bill is really a 1996 then keep it as it is an error but most likely it is a 1995 but since you said bicentennial i could be a 1976.

You can easily make out the Neff-Simon signature which makes it a 1976. 'Bicentennial Twos' is a loose term, people still use it on the newest series $2 because of the reverse design depicting the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which debuted in this country's bicentennial year (but is still used).
