I did one of mine, and nothing came up. Why is this? It is E10380728* one dollar bill from Richmond, Virginia in the 2003 series.

I just entered it and all the info came up for me. Did you remember to add the star at the end?

Okay, I just tried several different star notes with the star (star being the asterisk I guess?) and without and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong, any ideas?

You just use the lookup php, above, set the denomination, set the series, add the ser # then hit submit. Working for me, no problem

I just ran Scrible's $1 and $100 notes and both came up for me. Turns out his $1 is from a very low production run of 320,000 notes.

I had no trouble at all. Can't understand where you were having trouble. Were you using the letter O instead of zero?

Re: Is your star note rare? Check it here.
I was having trouble using this site to look up some star notes I have found recently as well. Found out that you have to make sure the FRB letter is not capitalized and you do not enter spaces. Example: L 00259344 * would be entered l00259344* . Hope this helps. That was one I found today that was part of a run of 640,000 or less. My best one yet. Then again I have only found 2, lol. Those two have me looking through every one dollar bill bundle at work now though, so I guess I am hooked. Good luck and happy hunting!!!

This is a great site! I haven't had any issues with it, although I wish it had older notes as well. I have a few I would like to know about. Thanks

Re: Is your star note rare? Check it here.
Okay, I know that you said the site doesn't give values but my question is why would any of these have a value greater then the denomination?
I check my bills for radar and repeaters and I understand what a star note is but I don't see why it would have value?
Please educate me on this.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Is your star note rare? Check it here.
Just a guess:
People collect 'star' notes for the same value reason(s) you collect 'repeaters' and 'radar' notes.
