*SOLD !! Won a LADDER Note Playing Liar's Poker

I won this bill in a game of Liar's Poker a few years ago. Kept it because the #'s were ALL in order ; 23456789

Now years later I find out how rare a bill like this is. Known to collectors as a LADDER Note. The bill is in circulated condition but is very crisp. NO tears. It had been folded at one time as you can see remnants of a faint crease. HH
Here is a scan of the bill:

UPDATE __ UPDATE __ UPDATE **** 3/10/11

I SOLD this note on Ebay the other day !!
I got $484.10 ;D on 3/6/11

Of course I am keeping the # badge for my avatar ! :laughing7:

Plus it's bracketed with "D's". I don't know if that would add to the value, but it sure can't hurt.

Treasure Facts magazine, June 1995 issue, has a How-To article entitled, "Tell if the Folding Money in Your Wallet is Worth $10,000----Check It Out".

At the time of that article, this area of collecting paper money was just getting more popular so there were no hard and fast rules and values to go by.
