Confederate Currency whats it worth?
hello there i once aquired a confederate $1000 note i believe the year was 1864 or 5 and me and mother got into a fight about it one day because she inquiring to private collectors on how much it was worth and i think she sold it because when i mentioned about it she got very defensive, so if any one can tell whats it worth? the cond was very good to no wrinkling or corner tares, this argument took place about 20 years ago and i always ate at me.
always on the quest of finding the machine that fits me!

Re: Confederate Currency whats it worth?
I have a $5, $10, and $20 Confederate note I am asking $50, $60, and $40 for. I am only asking $40 for the $20 note because it is in such rough shape. The $5 and $10 are in AU crisp condition.
I also have two "fractional" notes of $.25 and $.50 I am asking $10 and $20 for. All 5 of my notes are from Georgia.
As for a $1000 note, I haven't the slightest idea. I wasn't aware they printed them in such a high denomination but I could be wrong. I imagine a note like that would be pretty rare and valuable, but I will have to put in some research and get back to you.

There are so many fake Confederate notes (money) found for sale that odds are very good yours was fake. Below is a list of known fake bills from just one list....
CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA
If your note's serial number is listed below, then you have a fake note. Notes on this list are modern copies and have no collector value.
