    1934 $100 & $20

So today at one of my dump banks the gals said these were going back to the Fed for disposal, did I want them? I hesitated as I have never done bills before but I thought what the heck, I'll get them, scan them, see if any of you bill experts think they are worth a hoot or not and if not they'll take them back, I made sure they ran them through the cummins to be sure they weren't fake!

Anyways I figure the $100 is at least a low series with the 00 starter, even tho it has a rip in the middle bottom and the yellow mark from the counterfeit pen :-(

The $20 is in better condition but not great by any means.

    Enjoy the photos at least!

I don't know anywhere near as much about american paper money as I do about Canadian paper money but from my paper money collecting knowledge/experience I say keep it, they are old and they look cool, what more could you want, aside from silver that is .

I love those old bills. They are becoming so hard to find these days. Even the 1988 series $5,10,and 20 bills are becoming scarce. Good find!

Nice pickups.. worth something over face.. I've seen a couple of the 1934 $100 within the last 6 months yet tellers kept them all. I check Feebay and saw them for $115 for one circulated. Too bad you couldn't $100 worth of 1934 coins.

As far as low serial numbers, it's gonna to be 0000XXXX or 00000XXX. Lowest serial number I found was 2003A $100 circulated with 00001801. Probably barely much over face. It's got a lot of wear on Franklin's face.
