What is the difference between a United States Note and a Federal Reserve Note?
Also have a 34 series fifty dollar bill with red seal. Any value?

The value all depends on the condition of the bill. I checked a little on e-bay, and unless it is in very good condition, the premium over face value seems quite small. 10-15 percent. That being said, all old paper money is more rare than the coins of that time because paper of course doesn't last as long as metal. Check around at a coin shop and see what they have to say about it.
