I got this bill the other day at a local convenience store. Is there a "scale" as to when a serial number is low or really low or rare? For instance....0 to 100 extremely rare ....101 to 1000 rare ....1001 to..... and so on? Sorry if that is a stupid question but heres the bill I got. Just curious about its rarity or potential value and how low of a number is considered a keeper? Thanks for looking.

There is no actual scale on low serial numbers , as some consider a low number under 1000 and others under 100 . I would say any number under 100 is a keeper in any condition . From 100- 999 ( 3 digits ) , I would only keep that note if it was in " uncirculated condition " . The other factor would be if the note had a fancy serial number like 00009999 , then since this note is (4 digits ) like yours , I would keep it in any condition . Unfortunately , I wouldn't keep your note unless those numbers had some meaning to you .
