OMG I have to see them pics. I am a currency collector and they sound interesting. I have my bank tellers always on the lookout for oldies too.....

I don't believe there was a 1929 bill printed with a 'face' of less than a $50. And since you mentioned the collection totals $42, it couldn't be the $50. So.... I'm really looking forward to seeing the pics.
Don......

National Currency is dated 1929 and in denominations as low as $5.

Went to a recent coin show several weeks ago, took my old currency to SELL. Would you believe several of the currency dealers were NOT EVEN INTERESTED. They said to recycle most. Since then, one of my 35-yr old nephews who is interested in old currency, I offered to give to him at FV whatever he wanted out of the bunch. He jumped at the Chgo note, a $100 Natl Curr note, plus many of the red $2, $5 notes, and $1 silver certs., total $172 worth. I'm happy that I gave him at FV rather than just letting them go into the wild.

I would have jumped at that chance too....
