    What are the dates on these? The $5 looks like 1861, can you make out anything else on these 2 notes?

    Thank You so much for making my pics. look better.Both are dated Sept.2,1861.The $5.00 one reads Six months after the ratification of a treaty of peace between the confederate states and the united states will pay five dollars to bearer.has a # in 2 places either 78912 or 70912,and is signed at bottom twice cant make them out.J.T.Patterson,Columbus SC undeneath first signature.Both are very thin and hard to read. Thanks for your help.
