Well the zapper is from someone else. Not mine sorry to say. However i do plan to try it.

Cool. A lot of history down there from what i have read. Hope the links help you out. They gave me a good starting point.

Hey Rip You ever do Kiwanas Park down there in Shaler where they do the fireworks? Watched them there a couple times...place gets PACKED!

Newb question: What does the zapper do? Is it like the one I just saw at the Atocha exhibit, where they put the encrusted stuff in the tub as soon as it's brought up, to halt the oxidation/decay process? What's the power source? Is this safe? Thanks.

I'm assuming it is like electrolysis. Removes rust. I have a small one that i made.

Nice finds Rip, don't check out that forum enough...probably should.

No...havent been out at all...had loads of work just before the mill started slowin down and then was just to achy tired to get out.
Guess I'm not going out any time soon....
Gonna catch up on my research.....
