Connellsville 1962 "Still operation busted"

From the Post Gazette, Monday Oct.29th, 1962

Federal agents and local police raided an 800 gallon still in an open field near the former Boy scout Camp Wildwood, near Normalville.
The still was able to produce 400 gallons of moonshine a week.
Walter Firestone,20 and Neil Firestone, 19 were arrested.

*Sounds like this could be a couple places to check out if it hasn't all been developed. Notice it said FORMER Boy Scout Camp....pre 1962.

Camp Wildwood also opened in the 1920's and operated off Route 711
South near the Indian Creek Valley Community Center.
