Hi, I would like to inquire if there are laws about metal detecting in county parks? Also if a permit is required? If it is permitted what areas are off limits?

Thank you for your time Steve

Hello

No, there are no rules or permits. It is permitted at this time.

"At this time" does that mean they are working on a ban? print your email and carry it with you. Cover your holes.

I would be shocked to get her e-mail on a Saturday too. It was great that she responded so quick. I would definitely print and carry it with you, just in case. That's awesome that you have no fees, rules, or permits...Good Luck and do your research.
