Beaver Meadows : on Rte 93, on the way to "Chunk" (Mauch Chunk). Beaver Meadows predates Hazleton and many surrounding towns. Established before the Civil War. Starting place for Ario Pardee, Hazleton coal baron. The caboose for trains was invented here, for the safety of the mine workers.

Would be right up along the lines of a "pirate camp".

Same "type" of nomad'sh... lifesytle'sh... person'sh ... typish... hide'sh... their stuff'ish.

allot depends on how loose they were with their Money.
They wanted to be paid for Everything including talking to Them.
Of course I'm sure there were Plenty of Fights in and around their Camps,
Over Money, Children & especially women. Both theirs & others .
Fights mean rolling around, Rolling around means stuff Falling out of Pockets & stuff
like Chains being ripped off.

Gypsies Wore Plenty of Jewelry.

Suppose at a Gypsy Camp a few buried caches.
in the Meantime someone in the Camp P.O.'d the wrong person &
the Local Constabulary rode into Camp.
the next words "Pack Up & go Now !"
and eyes never left them.
They wouldn't necessarily Dig their Cache in view of the Police.
Then suppose they got an Escort out of the County with a warning not o come back.
they may have anyway, But Maybe Not .


Anything is Possible.

If I could find and hunt a Gypsy camp I would.
Love Tokens may be connected to Gypsy camps also

I would be more interested in the stuff... than fighting.

Especially their stuff :P
