Re: SWATARA FALLS, Schuylkill County.

a lot of people used to hang out there, could have dropped some things as their pants dropped as well. Lots and lots of those square foil lined packages there, I can guarantee you that  :occasion14:

In other words, if you go here, make a lot of noise as you get near the falls if there are any children with you or they may see something you don't want them to.......you've been warned and trust me, it isn't always pretty :tard:

Beautiful country, fantastic video. I imagine it was even better when the Native Americans drank, bathed, fished and lived there. But still really great country, EXCEPT in winter...

Five years ago to this day, my wife and I welcomed a foreign exchange student from Germany into our home . She lived with us in Hegins for a year and has become a daughter to me. She has visited twice more and is presently here with us as I write this.
I heard of the falls but never visited them until today. Her and her brother are staying for three weeks and I wanted to do some exploring so I decided on the falls. It was a real experience for me just as much for them. It's so beautiful, peaceful and fascinating. I've lived in Schuylkill County all my life and never knew of such a wonderful place so close to my home.
It just goes to show you that there are things so close, you don't need to travel very far to see them.
