COVENTRY TOWNSHIP

The Spelling of the German family name of Morian
evolved over the first 150 years in America
through Murria, Morge, Morgen and Finally to Morgan.

Would be Cool if the Land can be Located.
If you're From the area Go for it ;)

Yes that is the Same Adam Morgen
in my records

Johan was Dropped at some point.

Below on list "Bastian Morian" was his son Sebastian.

IF you see the way the names are Scribbled
in the Ships List, & the fact these people had
little Education, I'm not surprised they spell
their names wrong. :P

Adam was Naturalized Apr. 5, 1747 by a John Kinsey,
chief Justice of Philadelphia County.
and also time of taking Sacrament.

Page 29 od M.S. Giuseppi., ed., naturalizations of
foreign protestants in the American
and West indies Colonies Publications by the Huguenot Society
of London. Vol XXIV

Adam was From Rotterdam, Holland

as far as Elizabeth.
Females unless Head of the Household were not required to sign.

I'v got Everything from their Arrival on & up to me

But Just can't find anything on the Family in Europe.
& back.

THANKS !
Jeff

Hey Jeff- I live about 10-15 miles from that area. Cool article. How far away are you? May have to take a drive.

Brian

an Estimate without checking I'd say I'm at least
200 mile north.

Let us know what you find out.

Jeff
