F.Y.I. in case anyone Wonders.
This post was made for a Lead in Carlisle area for A member, Who was visiting that area Last July.

The Circled site is where the Central PA Metal Detecting Club used to Bury Coins for their Yearly Hunt.

I Have not heard from the Club in 10 years, But I would believe the Odds Something never got Found is Good.

Since he has Gone home by now I'm sure,..... Have at it! if you Want !
I Am not sure if the West Pennsboro Fire Company Needs to be asked.
I Would say if someone is in Ask them. If Not, Use your Personal Judgement :coffee2:
There is a Public Park there, So this area May be Park too :dontknow:

Thanks Jeff, Carlisle, PA is a special place. I used to travel from Michigan to York, PA to visit my In-laws and spent many hours trout fishing the LeTort Spring Run in Carlisle. That's the ultimate challenge to land a wild brown trout on a fly. Here's a short video (not me) of the LeTort...

Also, I worked with a gentleman that was a General in the Army Reserves that attended Army War College in Carlisle. He told me during the training, they would hike the grounds near Gettysburg and would find places where CW relics were illegally dug. Big NoNo!
