only place I would be aware would be old Newspapers.
however I never did any research on what happens to those records.
the Police records could prove valuable for leads.
especially some of the unsolved cases.

Don't know if the Court house would have inherited the police files,
or if they would still be in local police departments,
donated to historiical societies, or what

There were no State Police in PA Back then.

About 1900 the Coal and Iron Police came into being.

and a short few later because of corruption

the State Police were invented.
