I have a Sony DSC TX-1 that can take those, but I have not found anything worth posting to take a panorama of

Nice pic. I recently purchased a fuji S1800 which has the panoramic option. I love it. It works great for outdoors, autostitching the photos together. In closer quarters, well, sometimes the results aren't that great. Did a pic for my boss's showroom and it cut off the corner of a table that was near the edge of the original photograph. The reason was that as I panned from one pic to the next, the perspective(?) on the very close table changed so that the corner was not in the second photo.
