I read the WEEK of the 22nd. When digging in frozen ground, always use a pinpointer. LOL

There used to be a beach here a few million years ago. LOL Think it froze. That was before I started detecting. But yes, if the ground is frozen, a pinpointer is a necessity.

Well, next thing you know they will have exchangeable tips for the pinpointer. LOL

My Nokta probe has replaceable coil covers - one, with a scraper, the other is a smooth cover..., and, yes, I use both
