Anyhow a little late but i am new hear my wifes friend she went to school with was fixing up a house in marcus hook ,pa when he started finding notes, pieces of eight,buttons old tools under the floor the house has been identified as blackbeards misstress the house is as big as a shoebox in my opinion anyhow now the have all these people crawling all over the house from histrical society and other groups,he should have kept quiet for a little while they have a web site up and runnin i will get back to you on this.and try to post some pics of the finds.

Yes they are carefully turning over every spoonful of soil there. He spoke to our detecting club about the finds and we got to detect his other property nearby. Had some neat old finds of buttons and other artifacts. Marcus Hook is just about totally off limits to detectors.
