Information on mug

Hi All,

I am looking for any information on this mug that you may know of including value, date, manufacturer etc. It was bought by my Grand Mother many many years ago in Switzerland when they were on holiday.

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

I think you have a beer mug, the 4 digit # is the manufacturers mark, the 8 is probably the potters mark, and the other mark is the company logo. Do a google search on swiss and german potters. It looks very well made. (Nice piece) hope this helps, Bob
