Any ideas? Was my grandparents that lived in Japan in the 1950's. Not sure if they got it then but hopefully the images help.

That would be a feat, as this is a Japanese Satsuma ware plate, with beautiful Phoenix birds.

PaperFriend has not been back to these pages since July, either.
