I believe that all the PMs will begin to climb pretty quickly once people make up their minds that they're safer then stocks. In bad times PMs have always been really good hedge funds. Plus Silver stands ready to out pace gold for many many reasons. I've been buying PMs in many different forms for many years, simply cause I never trusted the stock market and the people arround it.

The metal to invest in during October of 2008 would have been lead. I've seen people who made a ridiculous amount of money because of the elections in Nov 2008.
