How many grams in a ounce Of gold, and how many ounces in a pound of gold.
Is the answer 28 grams of gold= 1 ounce, and 16 ounces of gold egual 1 lb,,, Or are troy ounces and grams diffrent?

It sure is complicated. That's why Australia went decimal 40 yrs ago.
The Troy ounce is used for weighting precious metals and 31.1 gram = 1 Troy ounce.

Also 12 Troy ounces = 1 Troy pound , weird eh.

The Avoirdupois ounce = 28.35 grams and is the everyday Yank ounce used by your mum to make choc chip cookies. !6 Av. ounce = 1 Av. pound.

Ehh its usually nickel bags, dime bags, 8 balls and pounds for dealers

weed is done mostly in nickel and dime bags, ounce fractions(1/8, 1/4, 1/2) and pound fractions(1/4lb, 1/2lb and up). Same for mushrooms.
Pills go by milligrams.

This is a common misconception--there is no such thing as a troy pound. A pound is a pound, it is either made up of 12 troy ounces or 16 av. ounces.
