    Good to Buy Silver Bullions?

I am looking to start buying/investing 10 oz silver bullions because the 100 oz bullions are too much for me right now. Is it a good time to start buying/investing in silver bullions? Could someone let me know how I should get start in this? I'm mainly buying them so I can pass them down to my 3 kids when they get older. I would love to buy the 100 oz bullions, but I'm a single father of 3, so money gets tight at times. Thanks in advance for any information that you can give me.

I think it is. 10 ozers are very popular and carry a hefty premium, hopefully you can build a rapor with your local dealer that will help. I have quite a few- they are a nice size. BTW mine aren't for sale cause I bought them when silver was $15 but the prems were less. HH Mark

5 and 10 ounce bars are great, but watch out for the high premiums. But today even junk silver has a high premium. If I had to choose between .999 bars and junk, I'd take the bars anyday assuming the premiums were about the same.

Gold is the metal of choice and a bargain if you can find any.
Silver is a bargain at these prices but none is available at these prices.
Mortgage rates are at an all-time low; but no one can get a loan.
Oil prices are breaking new low levels and no one is going on long road trips.

Here is my advice...stick with 1 oz. bars and rounds, stay away from the collector stuff. If youre looking to accumulate silver DO NOT buy the premium stuff such as Eagles, Pandas, Kookaburras, etc. Buy Eagles only if you can get them on sale. I recently got Eagles for $12.88 each...now thats a sale. 10 oz bars are nice but carry higher premiums than 1 oz bars, the same can be said for 5 oz. bars.

Always buy in large quantities if possible...usually the more u order the lower each bar or round will cost.

Last but not least stay away from Northwest Territorial Mint...low prices but youre playing with fire...you may or may not get your silver

Anything at less than spot is a bargain. Remember the bars/rounds are .999 fine silver and in full ounce increments. Comm's and morgans are 90% silver and not full ounces. (one silver dollar has .7735 troy ounce of pure silver)

    This weekend I bought 4 rounds @ $8 each and 6 silver dollars @ $7 each.
