How much for "junk" silver?

I may have found someone that would sell "junk" silver. What is a good price to buy these coins? How much over face value? I also found someone with a 1981 silver eagle, but I noticed they started making them in 1986. What could this be? Where do you sell your silver?

I always start a 5-6 times face value for common and a bit more for barbers and even a little more for morgans. Works 95% of the time.

!0x face is a good buy right now. I am paying that my self. Silver is set for a dramatic rise in 2009 None of the local shops around me will sell for less than 13x face. Melt is 9.7x face. Hope that this helps.
