    any good digital or old school scales to weigh jewelry for less coin.

    Try ebay, right now 179 pages of listings. The one I bought is not listed now. I think I paid around $15 (including S&H)
    You need a pocket sized 500 gram. I always take mine with me when hitting the garage sales.

    here is one that closes in a few hours, but i am sure there are more. $10 & includes shipping.
