    Scored some Engelhards today

Was able to get some one ounce bars, one ounce prospector rounds and a couple of 10 ounce bars for 14.50 per ounce. I know that is still a high premium, but I saw that Apmex is selling them today for 17.50 or so per ounce (the one ounce bars), so I feel like I got a good deal.

Anyone know why Engelhards carry a higher premium? JM bars also seem to have higher premiums around here.

14.50 is far better than anything that I have found here in Northern Ohio.
Just because it did not work does not mean it was not a good plan!

It's all about the name. Same thing when you go to a grocery store, all the name brand items cost more. I guess you could say that it's just a name that is in demand because that's what people recognize. So that is what's on top of the list. Me and you might recognize some other mint names but the average consumer wouldn't....
