German firm plans gold ATMs to meet growing demand
By Peter Starck FRANKFURT, May 19 (Reuters) - Private investors should hold up to 15 percent of their wealth in physical gold, according to a German asset management company which plans to set up 500 'Gold-To-Go' ATMs in Germany, Switzerland and Austria this year.

30% premiums is high, but it is an interesting concept. I think it will be a long time, if ever, that such a concept would catch on here in the US. I kind of feel like when the average joe starts talking about buying gold here, then it will be the time to sell.

Smash & Grabs may Increase Also

Here in Oz we've had guys blowing the front off the auto teller machines.
Basically they pump the machine full of gas from a bottle and then ignite it, from a distance obviously!
After the smoke clears its grab as much cash as you can before the cavalry arrives.
