    Cha Ching!!

Scored this ring back in June at Bass Lake in California. I took it to my local jeweler and he weighed it.

It weighed in at 16.1 grams. It is pure platinum. Got $25 an ounce for it.

That's right baby $400.00 smackers. Metal dectecting does pay off after all!!

Wow--congratulations. That was a nice windfall. I bet the wife/girlfriend looks at the hobby in a new light.

Great find there! But if it is pure Platinum and it weights 16.1 grams, shouldn't it be worth more like $700 melt since Platinum is $1359 per ounce?
