    Scrap for bullion

    Hey guys,
    I've been accumulating scrap silver, gold and placer that I have dug myself. I am looking to eventually trade my scrap for bullion bars.
    My question is;
    Where can I trade my scrap for bullion? NW supposedly does this but I do not know for what premium. I would like to get the fairest trade possible. There has to be a better way to do this than, sell scrap for cash and in turn buy bullion.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    No help if you are in Latvia.
    I know ARA in Texas will refine and send you back your 24K in small pellets. I do not know if pour into bars and I am sure they do not stamp their bars.

    I have seen JewelerDaves pictures of bars stamped with his company info. You might try and contact him. He is in Colorado. (he is on this chat group)

    Re: Scrap for bullion

    I actually began my coining business model just for people like yourself. As I wanted to do the same thing!

    The Conversion rate to have your gold coined is %5 and I actually use your gold in the coining as opposed to crediting it and using another batch.

    I do have to charge a nominal fee if its less than 2 oz to help cover the costs of refining.
    But basically to coin your own gold into 1/10th oz rounds is
    $30 to $50 to cover refining and return shipping. And Either $5 per coin per striking, or %5 of the gold, its about the same in this market.

    Most people prefer to get all there gold back and pay for the charges to do so.

    Depending on what the remainder is, as there is always some extra, I can either send back grain that is 24k, you can sell it to credit the costs, or you can buy enough to cover the extra for an additional coin to even it out to a round number. I am flexible and can work with you.

    Turn around is usually 1 to 3 weeks depending on my work load and time of year.

    I currently have 1/10th oz and 1 oz coins.
