According to Bloomberg, $29.50 for Silver by end of year

According to Bloomberg, the ‘expert’ consensus silver price forecast for 2011 is $29.50, representing a 31% discount from the current spot price. This same group of analysts also predicts prices will decline another 25% in 2012 and a further 9% in 2013 to $20 an ounce. When you consider that the silver price has appreciated by over 21% annually over the past 10 years, these forecasts suggest a very dramatic change in the long-term trend. Will this reversal come true? Probably not. These were the same analysts who predicted that spot silver prices would average $18.65 this year - so they’ve missed the mark by over 100% thus far.

Sounds just like our bias news media. Seems like you have to put this in one of 3 categories. Either they are all completely ignorant to what is going on? Aren't they supposed to be financial experts, and see what more and more people or awakening to the reality of a financial tsunami potentially coming if we don't shift course quick. Or they are just looking at historical charts and over looking any facts on Ag manipulation? Which this would still lead to number three if truly simply turning blind eye. And drum roll.............. Number 3 is........their part of it. The way I see it you can call it a attempt at financial propaganda. Trying to hide any interest in Ag, which in my opinion looks like is just about out of their control.

Fact: Russia, China, India, and I'm sure other countries have admitted to secretly purchasing silver in tonnes. They get it, and it appears the general us financial consensus is ...lie, manipulate, and apparently run this great ship aground. What other a conclusion is one to make once one truly understands what is going on?

My fellow citizens my flag hangs upside down in accordance with the United States Navy's sign for a ship in distress.

As this greatest country is in distress!!!

It Sounds to me like someone is trying to start a trend ! Hoping that if they say this enough it will happen.
So far the market gurus have been so far off the mark on just about everything that I do not take any stock in what they say.

I just watch the Metal prices everyday and by that you can see what is going on. At least it is closer to what the market is doing than what most of the experts are saying .
Few things I love to do is , Metal Detecting for anything of the past!
Making Detectors better ! Tuning and finding ways to upgrade Detector hardware , To make them work the Best that is possable !

In a way, I hope they are right about their predictions.

$20 an ounce for silver? I'll be buying as much as I can afford...even though it won't be tons. I missed out on cheap silver, even though someone I know told me many times to invest in it over the years.
