Minimum weight?

Anyone here use ARA or Midwest Refineries? Is there a minimum weight for ARA? Do they charge a fee? Do I just box up my stuff and send it to them? Their site is pretty sparse, no real answers in the faq. I have a few broken bracelets/necklaces I was going to get rid of while gold is fairly high, but the prices per gram at the local jewelers were enough to make me laugh ($18 a gram on 14k. WTFE)

Also, since I live in Michigan I was looking into Midwest Refineries, but I can't find where they say how much they pay for scrap. I looked them up on Google Earth, the view of ARA is more comforting...

No minimums at ARA. They pay 98% on gold scrap and will mail back your stones if requested. I have dealt with them several times and am very satisfied. Call John @1-800-216-9796 and chat with him........................
