buying gold now?

I found a 13 gram pendant in a thrift store for $240. I have a 20% off coupon, which drops it down to $200. Spot is around $260.

Is it worth it to buy it and put it way for when gold goes back up? I can't sell it as is, because it is missing one of the stones. (It doesn't have a lot of stones, only a few.) I don't recognize the hallmark.
