An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

As I write this, silver is down 2% for the day; at $14.13; only ten cents short of its one-year low and only 48 cents short of its five-year low.
Probably the Fed not raising rates has something to do with this. I am stubborn and perhaps foolish to believe it will drop to my BUY figure of below $13.00. Meanwhile, holding equities today continues not to be a bad investment.

We need to breach $20 for me to feel like we are "out of the woods" with respect to going below $15 again anytime soon.

Look at this nice weekly chart. If we close this week at or above $18.30 or so, it will be breaking out of resistance that has held since the high from last August. If that happens, $20 should be just around the corner.

What is interesting is that the dollar is up too. The weekly chart for the dollar shows it is going to pop up through resistance or drop big. Hard to tell which way?

I think the reason we are seeing silver rise even in the face of a strong dollar is due to the gold/silver ratio being way out of whack (it had climbed above 90 in recent months) and finally correcting. With gold at $1,500 a ratio of 75 (which is still very, very high by historical norms) implies a silver price of $20/oz.

Silver is an important technological metal, in the light of recent China-trade saga, you shouldn't worry, just wait........

I'm going to pick up some BU quarter rolls (1961-64 years) from a collector friend for less than $1 over melt per oz of pure silver today. He's been selling the past few days and is often an inverse indicator, so I think we're going higher over the coming weeks. Keep stacking!

You got it Jim, that's why I'm buying right now as I see the same trend happening as the last rise and hopefully it goes higher. I've also been stocking up on circulated Silver Dollars as I give them away at Christmas to some of the locals who serve me throughout the year in the local businesses. I have been doing it for 3 years now and it's a great feeling, up to 3 rolls now. Hopefully they will all get a surprise this year when they find out how much a dollar costs. Lol Keep Stacking

These small gains havent curbed my appetite yet. Not high enough prices to discourage my stacking at this point and no worries.
I will probably continue to buy into the $20s no prob. We'll see anyway.
