Anyone here buying silver at these prices?

I picked up some Engelhard prospector rounds and standard one ounce bars. The rounds are really nice looking. I much prefer them to the over-prices American silver eagles based on cost.

Just curious, how are you able to buy at 50 cents under spot, on an item that normally sells for at least $2 over spot? Either they are "hot" or you are buying from someone who does not know the value of his metals. Dealers are paying well over spot to buy ASEs. Maybe you got a good deal on an Ebay auction??

im not sure why but its a coin/jewelry store by me. all their silver bullion is rounded down to the nearest dollar. and their Morgans are $16 each, the conditions are all fine or better. the peace dollars are $15 each. i guess that he is paying next to nothing for them so he can still make money.

    Hahha,
yeah, some dealers are the ones to buy from, others are the ones to sell to. Rarely will they ever be the same person.
Also, good prices mean good business if youve got it.

Life is a coin, you can spend it any way you wish, but you can only spend it once.
