tracker Iv

I have a tracker Iv, I LOVE it!!!! But I do have one question, it says the heads are waterproof, I live on the Chesapeake bay and detect on the beaches alot, has anyone ever got INTO the water,say about 2'???? I have never gone into the water....dont want to risk breaking something

According to the manual. It says to not get water into housing. That said. Inspect coil to make sure no cracks or separation in coil. Then from what I read. Just don't go to housing. So you possibly could do 2'. Depends on shaft length of course.

Can get the coil wet no problem just dont get the control box wet and yull be ok. Happy hunting
