I use 4 inch thin wall drain pipe , sealed well at each 10 ft joint . 3 inch would probably be sufficient . I get massive suction. I have the luxury of setting it up and leaving it for weeks . But , its light and for a two day operation its not too bad to set up , again , super light. I run 100 to 120 foot of the stuff. I could go with 60 - 80 foot because I have a nice elevation drop .
Glad you have the fever .

I need all new pieces for the gravity dredge so maybe ill take your advice and use the drain pipe. My dredge equipment was burned up in the Camp Fire at my buddys place.

Finally got my first piece of gold using the Gold Monster 1000! Only took about 10 outings... found tons of square nails, shot, fishing weights, etc... im sure you're all familiar. Came in a .5 grams IMG_4543.jpg
