Hey

I generally get out about once per week when it's not winter and make my way around the state looking for gold.

I recently decided to start making the occasional video as I'm out prospecting. Here is the first if you're interested:

I spent a couple of days camping and highbanking in the blistering heat in North East Victoria, and nabbed myself about 0.6g for my efforts. Not an amazing result, but I had a ball so I'm happy Tis reaaally fine gold there.

I got out today for a bit of prospcting. I headed to the Gippsland region in the east of Victoria. I had some mild success.

Hey,

So I haven't been very active lately due to the fact that I've started a uni course...so priorities y'know. Have been dying to get out and managed to steal a few spare hours a couple of days ago and went on a spur of the moment outing. Hopefully once I get into the swing of things I'll be able to get out more...

Anyways, I headed back to the spot in was at last time in Gippsland and I did alright despite the fact that I broke my crevice sucker fairly early on. Got a little picker

Here's the latest installment. Went back to Gippsland yet again and got 0.35g for my effort. Twas a good day out but I hurt my back. I mentioned it in the video saying I don't know why it's sore...but I just forgot. On the way in there was a tree down across the road...I had to move it to get past and hurt my back in the process. Ugh. It's still really sore. I won't be doing that again. I've fractured vertebrae twice in my life, once from heavy lifting and it feels very much the same. Sigh. What an idiot ey. You'd have thought I'd have learnt by now.

Hey,

Its been a couple of weeks since i managed to get out, but finally managed to get a few days to myself so headed out to Reedy Creek again for some prospecting and camping. Got some okay results. Could have done much better if i ran the highbanker the whole time but was just in a sluicing mood so mostly did that. Anyways took some more vid as usual. See below if you're interested.
