Used a couple o-rings to seal the tubes from the gold trap. Glued the inside caps and pounded the outside ones on nice and tight, but should be able to pop the caps off if need be. Inside caps were drilled out to match the fluid tube ID
My zabookas have been working well! The little sniper sized one has been great for prospecting around. I can fit it along with a couple 2.5 gal buckets and a pan in my frame pack easily for exploring around. The larger one I built, which is closer to a prospector in size, is great for setting up and running all day long. They both are catching gold well, from -50 to pickers.
She's always on bear watch, haha! Treed a sow and 2 cubs there the other week. I was digging away, heard her bark, looked up and saw the cubbies climbing a tree 30 yards away. I just kept digging, lol. They came down and wandered off after a half hour or so. Just blackies, so I wasn't very worried
Cool sounds good it's been quite a while since I've gotten out but I've been thinking about it. Just wish it would stop raining so I could get into some of my preferred material.
