Stupid easy recipe( stuffed bell peppers)

Two green peppers with the tops cut off and seeds and as much of the white ribs as you can get out with your fingers
About a 1/4 to a half cup of quick cooking rice( not minute rice though the brown minute rice will do in a pinch)
I small can of tomato sauce
A half a small diced onion
About 2/3 of a lb. of ground round
Garlic powder
Fresh cracked black pepper
Cheddar cheese to go on top.

Cook rice in a small amount of water till absorbed and the take out of the pan to add after browning the beef. Brown meat with onion and a little garlic powder or even a clove of pressed garlic and drain grease.Add tomato sauce and cook around 10 minutes on a simmer.Add rice back in and stir.stuff peppers and bake covered at 350 for around 45 minutes. Uncover and add cheese to melt.

Sounds good! I make mine simple & easy too...I fix the Zatarains Dirty Rice mix on the stove, adding more chopped pepper to it, then stuff inside precooked peppers. Then bake!
